Thank you CM Corp!

The City of DuPont would like to say a huge “thank you” to Councilmember Eric Corp as he steps down from his City Council seat.

Councilmember Corp’s official last day on City Council was on March 31, 2019. Eric has served on the City Council since January 2016. He has been a dedicated volunteer to the City prior to his time as a City Councilmember, serving on the NW Landing ROA Board of Directors for many years, including time as the ROA Treasurer, joining the Planning Commission in January 2010 including 2 years as Chairman during the Comprehensive Plan re-write until he was elected to the City Council in 2015 then as Deputy Mayor since 2017. His tenure on City Council includes work on converting the City to a Biennial Budget system and introduction of the Council Committee Program. As Deputy Mayor he represented DuPont to the Pierce County Regional Council, Pierce County Cities and Towns Association and as the Cities and Towns member of the Pierce County Lodging Tax Advisory Council.

City Staff, Mayor Courts, and Councilmembers are grateful for his years of service and wish Eric the very best with his move to Texas.
