Heartfelt thanks from the Parks & Recreation Auction

Wow DuPont, you have really outdone yourself! Many heartfelt thanks for a wonderful Parks & Recreation Auction on Saturday! This is one of our largest community gatherings of the year, celebrating community, friendships and everything we all love about DuPont. Many thanks to CalPortland and TAS for sponsoring this annual fundraising event.

Special thanks to our local businesses, residents, dessert dash bakers and organizations for their amazing contributions to help make this event a success. Please take a moment to look through our catalog and thank the donors and sponsors when you see them.

Many thanks to the following volunteers who helped throughout the day: Carol Estep, Kathleen Trotter, Ruth Egger, Councilmember Gasak, Roy Coffey, Larry Wilcox, DuPont Teen League, Renee Buck, Maame Bassaw, Patrick Lewis, Lisa Hull, Kendra Harris, Melanie and Ryan Stone, Jessica Fester, PARCS DuPont, Councilmember Gruba, Mayor Courts, Nykita Stewart, Jeff and Loujanna Rohuer, Jack Curtis and CalPortland employees!

Best Dessert Dash Ever!

Thank you Councilmember Gasak for all of your efforts coordinating this year’s Dessert Dash. We were overwhelmed with gratitude on the amount of desserts that poured in on Saturday. The top dessert sold for over $600! How “sweet” is that? Thank you to the repeat bakers who come back every year. You are appreciated!

Please see our Facebook page for final auction proceeds early next week!

During this season of gratitude, we are grateful for the wonderful community we live in. Thank you!
