Aftermath K9 Grant Update

From the Desk of the Police Chief:

To the friends and supporters of Team DPD -THANK YOU!!! Your DuPont Police Department received hundreds of votes in support of the Aftermath K9 grant. Unfortunately, we didn't receive the award. We were competing with agencies from all over the western United States. Many of these departments represented major metropolitan areas with well over 500,000 people. The good news, however, is that our efforts to re-establish a K9 program are well underway. Outside of this grant, we have been actively pursuing other funding opportunities and government programs and have made significant progress. Stay tuned for updates on this venture coming soon - and THANK YOU again for all of your support!
