Risk Management

Risk Management develops, recommends, and implements policies and procedures to maintain adequate protection for risks of loss, damage, or liability to City property, equipment, and personnel. The City of DuPont is a member of the Association of Washington Cities Risk Management Service Agency (AWC-RMSA), which is a municipal corporation of public entities in Washington state that join together for the purpose of providing liability protection to its members. Members are also entitled to claims adjustment services, legal defense of claims, risk management consultation, and employee safety training services. The City Administrator serves as the Risk Manager for the City and is the liaison between the City and AWC-RMSA.
