Mayor's Committees

2020 is upon us and part of my promise to you was to provide more opportunity for citizen involvement in our government. As promised, there are many opportunities for you to be involved. Please consider stepping up and applying for the many openings we have in our city.

Below are volunteer positions that we identified during the campaign. These advisory committees are to address ALS, a City Code of Ethics, a Historical Commission and an Economic Development Commission that will report to the Mayor. Once these committees complete their work, their recommendations will go to the council for review and approval. Each committee will have 5 to 7 members.

Mayor’s ALS Committee: I will be looking for people having diverse points of view with a willingness to seek a solution in the best interest for the citizens of DuPont.

Mayor’s Ethics Committee: The goal is a code of ethics to be incorporated into the DuPont Municipal Code.

  • Agendas are available a minimum of 24 hours prior to meetings. Minutes are available following approval. You may view them here.

Mayor’s Historical Committee: I want to include citizens who have an interest in protecting and preserving our history as well as those currently serving with our Historical Society and Museum.

Mayor’s Economic Development Committee: This committee will have members from our business community as well as citizens interested in local economic development.

Below you will find the application form. Please email your applications to or turn them in at City Hall. I am excited about the path ahead that all of you helped to create.
