CivicRec Account Instructions
The City of DuPont launched its CivicRec page in 2022. This is your go-to portal for nearly all things regarding a registration for City-run programs, activities, sports, facility rentals and more. Do note that some registrations may be done outside of CivicRec such as sports camps from the City's third-party affiliates.
How to Create a CivicRec Account
A CivicRec account is required to be able to access the activities and facilities rentals catalogue. CivicRec can be used on a desktop, or a Tablet/ Mobile Device.
There are two types of accounts: an individual account and an organization account.
- Individual Account
- The basic, required account needed to perform any kind of registration.
- Applies to all human individuals such as adults, seniors, children and infants.
- Each individual will require at least two or more emergency contacts. These can be a relative, or close friend.
- Helpful Note: for e-mail, place in NA@NA.com if one isn't available.
- Helpful Note: after you put in your emergency contacts click on the "account profile" button at the bottom of the page to return to your main profile screen, or click on the "Catalog" or "Account" button near the top of the page.
- Each individual will require at least two or more emergency contacts. These can be a relative, or close friend.
- Organization Account
- An umbrella account that allows those Individual accounts under it to register on behalf of the organization.
- This account requires two or more emergency contacts. It is recommended that this be an individual that holds a position such as Human Resources, Risk Management or any other field regarding organizational services for staff safety.
- You may need to contact the City of DuPont for a staff person to add selected individuals to the organization account
- If a non-profit, the account will need a City official to add a flag to that account for this status. This will allow for non-profit discounts (10% off) to be applied to field & facility rentals.
Desktop Version Account Creation
In order to create an account, you will need to access the main CivicRec Page. When there, click on the "Log In with E-mail" button near the top left.
Once you click there, click on the "sign up" button. Do note: if you already have a CivicPlus account, you can use that login to get into CivicRec. For example, if you signed up to receive notifications from the City Website or have signed up for the Community Resource Management (CRM) Tool, SeeClickFix, you most-likely have a CivicPlus account.
You may be prompted to create your first individual or organization account. If not, then click on the "account" button on the upper left side of the page.
Complete all of the account creation questions associated as well as adding the two emergency contacts (highlighted below). Note: It typically will not let you move forward without these, and the system may not also allow you to register for anything for that user without completion. Once completed, click "account profile" to go back to the account creation screen. Once finished with the creation of the user account, you can then click on the catalog tab to view the catalog or the account tab to create another user.
