The City of DuPont welcomes everyone to honor February as Black History Month. Mayor Frederick's proclamation (2/10/2026 during the Council meeting), joins other cities, states, and the nation in honoring this annual tribute. More information about Black History Month can be found at Black History Month 2026.

DuPont Parks and Recreation is excited to announce the return of the Big Bargain Bonanza, back for its second year on May 30, 2026, from 9AM – 3PM. Like last year, this event will take place during DuPont’s city-wide yard sale, bringing bargain hunters and sellers together for a day of great finds in a great community.
The Big Bargain Bonanza offers residents and visitors the opportunity to reserve a 20x20 vendor space for just $25 at Clocktower Park, DuPont’s most popular park. Whether you are clearing out clutter or searching for hidden treasures, this event provides a central, high traffic location to buy, sell, and explore!
For event details, registration, and additional information, visit the Events page on our website, www.dupontwa.gov/195/Events, or reach out to Amy Walker at the DuPont Parks and Recreation Department by email to awalker@dupontwa.gov or by phone at (253) 405-9698.
