Six-year EMS Levy: Seeking citizens for “For and Against” Committees

The City of DuPont is seeking citizens interested in serving on the “For and Against” Committees for the April 2023 Ballot Measure: Six-Year Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Levy 

DuPont City Council adopted Ordinance 22-1117 regarding the continuation of a regular property tax levy for emergency medical services (EMS).  If approved, this proposition would renew the City’s existing EMS levy of $0.50 per thousand dollars of assessed value for an additional six years (for collections beginning in 2024), to continue providing current levels of emergency medical services.

Interested citizens should send a letter of interest, stating which committee they would like to be appointed, to Karri Muir, City Clerk, email: or mail to 1700 Civic Drive, DuPont, WA 98327. 

Letters of interest must be received by February 1, 2023, 4:00 PM.
